Sick

Ughhhhh..thats pretty much how I feel right now. I got sick right after the Lancaster race (where it poured rain) and rode Reading sick as well. I'm still feeling pretty god damn awful, but will still start Philly tomorrow to help the team in any way I can (don't expect me to do more than 4 or 5 laps). We rode the course today and Manayunk isn't quite as hard as I expected, but after 120+ miles, I'm sure it will be a le breaker.

In other team news, Kayle Leogrande is killing it right now. 6th place and top american at Reading. He was a little pissed to read the Velonews article which pretty much called him a fatass.

My bet for the race is wither for Eisel to make it 3 for 3 or Lagutin to pull off the win. I'll also put Borrajo and Pate in there as wildcards.

Dissapointment

Well...for me at least. Today was the Lancaster race, the first in the Triple Crown Series. It was 13 laps of a grueling 12km race totaling 85 miles. It rained the whole race making the course unbelievably sketchy but did absolutely nothing to deter the speed of the race. I finally got popped after 9.5 laps and found out from one of my teammates that the pace mellowed right after I got dropped till the last .5 laps. I felt good most of the race but just ran out of energy right when I needed it. Hopefully Thursday will go better. Kayle..top 15 I think.
